It looks like it is six to eight inches from the box to the floor, not very far. All three chicks jumped down onto the floor and never walked down the ramp to get to the floor. :)

Moved the cam - the chicks are just beside the nestbox sprawled out on the roof of the building - you can see the ramp on the right ....

4:55pm and we have an empty nest!  Took RG quite awhile to decide to follow her brothers, but I turned my back and she was gone!

And just after I loaded up Google Chrome so I could watch without it freezing...  :-\

I thought Red girl was going to leave the box and join her brother but she just settled on the first rung of the ramp for about a minute and a half and then went back up and into the box.  :)

Chicks got fed and it looked like the leftovers were dropped for the nest escapee!  ;D - maybe if TPC has the power to do so, she can lower the cam view a bit so we can see Green Boy better.... 8)

One the chicks is out of the box on the roof floor. I think it's green boy and he jumped or sort of jumped.  ;D
