Indeed, as wonderful as the rooftop is for the chicks, and it is a wonderful playground for them (sure beats that small stinky nest box!), it sure sucks for those of us who want to watch them!  Impossible to keep the camera on them.  And in the zoomed out view, the chicks just blend in with the rooftop! 

Oh well, at least you will soon get to watch them fly RCF!

 :D haha, or should I say screetch - cheep cheep?  they are exploring their world!!! what great little brave falcons we are!  we survived our own plasic wrapper attacks, rain, and now we are out & about!! ;D ;)

After, reading all the forum past and present, I will fly out for a few days next year before banding and then off to Winnipeg to catch them too. I just want to see them fly and the video and pictures are so great.....But, why do the Brandon chicks get transmitters?

0615: Storms off and on all night,One chick in front of box and another behind the box (maybe two) but I only saw one go there. They must be getting pretty wet because it's raining hard. So far not much wind and no hail.

I took video of them and took a capture from that, so when he moved off I could see the band with tape was dark. Process of elimination, Maya is bigger than the two boys and Sol's tape is white, so that's how I can tell. :)

Ohhh, OK, now that makes more sense.  I was looking at the capture and scratching my head thinking "How in the world does she see any colour!".  LOL
