It was truly disgusting, Dennis had to use a small "ladies" (as the boys call it) crowbar to help remove it from the box - and I was standing below holding the ladder!!!  :P x10

You are quite right RCF, they are.  Its just us who are "off" schedule, the early dry weather has thrown all us humans off our spring schedule I'm afraid ... I know I have to keep checking calendars ...

I checked 2011 past observations and on April 28th there were three eggs laid, so they are right on schedule.   :)

Hurricane was in the nestbox just hanging out so I thought I would hold off posting until she was "finished".  Unfortunately, she finished standing around and left the nestbox without depositing an egg, so the wait continues I'm afraid.

Sorry, box is still empty of eggs and no Hurricane camping out either.  Haven't seen her here since this morning.  Yesterday she was here for most of the afternoon, so we'll see if she turns up shortly and hangs around.
