Yep, the eggshell rolled out from beneath, and Princess pecked at it a bit.

The last shuggle, I swear I saw a birdy head sticking out of the egg . . . lol

Little Eggbert/Little Eggberta finally decided to join the siblings. I'd rather wait for a sunny afternoon than a chilly midnight, too!

Princess sure appears to be doing a lot of panting. Must be very hot up there in the nestbox. :P CBC website reports 27 degrees C. here in Winnipeg.

Well......if Princess would get off the pile for a minute, we could see better - have been trying to catch a better glimpse of that egg since I 'saw'  ??? the big pip - but she's not budging - next meal or shift change will be the best chance to see I guess!  8)
