6:35am... Breakfast Time!  Ivy brought in a fully intact bird, complete with long dangling legs  :P.  For those of you who have yet to see the Lil' Darlings, here's a snapshot!

Just had a great view of all 4 chicklets!  Turned on cbc to check things out this morning, and Princess was sitting there, but within about 5 seconds, she walked away.  Left the babies all on their own - I could see her off squawking, probably telling Ivy it was breakfast time!  He didn't respond fast enough, I guess, because about 2 minutes later, she was back on the babies.

How fun to see all four!!

 ;D ;D ;D  Royals are now a family of six. I look forward to watching them grow and flourish. Congratulations Princess and Ivy. I also look forward to many views of the fluffy chick pile.  :-*

Not unusual for there to be a day between hatches and considering that it was 7 days between 1 and 4, I think our youngest chick should be all caught up with his/her sibs in a couple of days.  And with experienced parents like Princess and Ivy, s/he won't lack for anything  ;)

She just took a little break out of the nestbox.  On her return a couple of little heads were up, beaks open, but shuggle, shuggle and all were covered. A bedtime snack might be called for.

The light is fading, and Princess is having a bit of a preen while her complete hatched brood is partially visible under her chest.   She seems to look at the camera with a triumphant and very satisfied glare.  Congratulations, Princess, you and Ivy have successfully begun another season!

Princess appears to be looking over her shoulder out the doorway, as if she's thinking, "Where's dinner, Ivy? We now have 4 little mouths to feed!" LOL! ;)

The new little chick looks so scrawny right now next to its fluffy siblings . . . let's hope it dries off and fluffs up soon!
