Seems Rosser prefers the upper bunk and Rain the lower. :)

Rosser was on the southeast pillar this morning yelling very loudly about something.  He flew off the pillar to the roof floor before I left at 6:45 am. I have pics, but that will have to wait until after 4pm.

Here is Rosser yelling on the southeast pillar

You can see the yellow tape on his band

Seems awfully windy today. Sure do hope they don't try to fledge in this wind and especially hope that they don't get accidentally blown/bumped off, prematurely.
Wind is 28kms SE that's not really that bad but these kids are smart and will probably fledge early am or latter in the evening when the winds are not a factor. What will be, will be! :)

Maybe they'll wait another couple of days!

Though the weekend is going to be hot and humid (humidex in the low to mid 40Cs apparently), they will definitely be old enough and it looks like the winds will be lighter than they could be for this time of the year ...
Sure hope you are right TPC. :)

Hey Rose, when did Rain and Rosser hatch? I know you're expecting them to fledge any day now, but I was wondering just how many days old they actually are.
They were hatched between June 2nd and 4th. The week of all the terrible storms they are 39 to 41 days old and could fledge any time however how could they possibly want to leave their garden of Eden?? :)

Must be windy out the camera seem to be shaking alot at times :)
Yes, it sure does look awfully windy up there on the rooftop. Glad to see them both up against the wall in the corner, taking cover from the wind. :)
The wind is 28kms an hour but these are smart chicks and won't do anything foolish :)
