Really Good Photos Dennis :) That shows what Brooklyn does,really quick to scream and dive but never gets too close to the enemy but he's a pretty bird isn't he. :)

This year there has been more folks involved with the Brandon Banding Process and what has been done at this location. The main nest box that is located 25ft. up the side of the wall is in need of replacement.
A temp box was installed on the roof at the time of banding as to not over stress the Birds/Chicks. They have taken nice to the new box and can be seen on the CBC Falcon Cam.
The nest box on the wall will be replaced later this year  :)

Way to go, Eagle -- that particular comment ticked me off, too, but I was at a loss to think what to say that might get through to her. Sigh . . . I guess that's another reason we persist in checking out the CBC comments -- sometimes we're called upon to add a voice of reason! Can't force them to hear, of course, but . . .

Ya can't force people to the forum but man that one lady said it was a no no to change homes in the process and I wrote that Tracy was a biologist and would know what to do and not do.

I was very pleased to read all of the "ins" and "outs" and "whys" and wherefores" regarding the new nestbox last evening, TPC. Thank you for your very lengthy post, explaining everything. :-* Also, great CBC radio interview early this morning. :)

I saw the parents going in and out of the new box quite readily this morning. Guess they have gotten used to it already ;D

I think we go and read the comments on the cbc page because we either want a giggle or you just end up rolling your eyes. I think some of these people only see the web cams and not any of the links that would take them to our informed forum..........it's like tunnel vision.  ::)

I think it's the camera's angle and type of lens,the nest box is almost the same size as the one on the wall except this one has a full roof and two full sides(this is an unused box from a site in Winnipeg and was made so that it could be taken apart and reasembled easily where needed) :)

This was from this morning at 7:30am.  Hurricane doesn't seem too sure about going in the new box yet. She goes in and comes back out, but the hungry screaming boys changes her mind and she goes in and feeds them.
