Additional note, the gravel is mostly thawed in the Radisson nestbox and we managed to clean out even more debris from Sandy's and Ty's visit last fall. Took out about as much today as I took out earlier this week. Tried to loosen up the rest and hopefully it will dry out and blow away as it is mostly feathers and small bones.
That Sandy is a messy little bird ... a very very pretty bird, but her table manners kinda such. We noticed that in the fall of 2009 too, she left bits on the eastside Radisson sign when she visited the first time.
