Just checked the Forum FAQ's and it looks like I'll be a chick until I reach 500 posts.  Guess I won't be fledging this year... :'(  (LOL)
Acually, I wouldn't be surprised if you fledge before the year is out, Leana. ;) You have become a very active Forum member with lots of interesting observational posts and photos, not to mention humourous. :-*

It's raining here in North Kildonan right now and it looks to be raining downtown at the Radisson. I wonder if they would fledge in the rain, or just wait for better weather? ???

Yikes! :o It's July 1st! I should have posted this in the July Radisson thread! ::)

It appears there are some showers downtown. One male watching his brother walking back and forth on the ledge. At one point it looked as though he was going to join him, he however, changed his mind. Brother came back and because it is raining, went into the nestbox. Both again, are out.

9:09 hrs, major wingercizing going on by somebirdie - think it might be Cade but can't tell for sure.  He was turning around in circles on the front corner of the edge flapping full out the whole time.  Holy smokes!  Bet a wingercizing teen peregrine would make a great fan on a hot day!  ;D

One chick is frantically wingercizing, standing on the edge. He nearly lifts himself off it :o He is leaning towards the street.

I wonder how mama birds manage not to bite their fingernails at this point. :D

It's raining a little in St. Vital - doesn't look like there's any precip downtown. So much cooler than yesterday and a great day to strengthen the flight muscles and wings! :)

Happy Canada Day everyone!

Thanks for all the postings and photos yesterday - it was great to see and read about our Royal Radisson Family and the adventures of the kids as they get ready to fly the coop.  Time has gone way too fast :o :o  I can't believe we're already talking about the babies' fledging!  They were just little squirts a few days ago it seems ::)

Congrats to Leana on becoming a chick!! ;D
