So very very sorry to hear about Fyfe!  He was a stunning falcon!  Fly free lil guy!  May his strength be given to his brothers and sister to continue the falcon line!

Did you see her wingspan?  Holy smokes, good thing she has the nest box to herself or she'd be flinging her brothers out one by one!  Too funny... after all the hard wingercizing work she has to have a little snack!  ;D

RCF it looks like Beatrix is using the prey as a weight to keep herself down.  She looks very big and ready to fly.  I wonder if tomorrow will be the day.

Leanne was telling me that before Cade landed on the "old" Free Press building - Manitoba Health now, he was flying up against the Air Canada building trying to grab onto the side of the building, began to plummet then started flapping hard and he regained height and took off to the roof of the free press building.  Whew! That would have been hard to watch.  Yeah to the Downtown Biz!!

I just came back from two weeks vacation without any internet.  I am so sorry to hear about Fyfe  :'( His photo's were beautiful.  Although it is part of nature, it is so hard when we watch them grow up before our eyes.  I hope that Carson will be alright, he will be in my prayers.  And now I will be worrying about little Cade also.
Thank you to all the time and effort that all the fledgewatchers put in for these little guys.  I wish I was closer to help.

Wonderful news!  I was just using Google Maps to locate the building.  Little rascal Cade went a pretty good distance on his first outing didn't he?  Let's hope he hunkers downs for the night now... Thanks to everyone for the updates.
