Now they will be able to put Carson back if he is ready, either on the Radisson roof or the nest box.  :)

Awesome video RCF!  First time I've seen a fledge in action.  Of course, if I'd gotten my sorry butt out of bed and gone downtown this morning I would have actually seen it happen live...  >:(

Oh that empty nest and unused ledge runway looks so forlorn already.  Now there is room for Carson to come home.  Hopefully Cade and Bea come back to visit so we don't suffer too severly with withdrawal.

Thank you RCF for that video.  Didn't she do a great job?  Waiting a few days sure made her a lot stronger.  Guess it was all that attitude yesterday that got her riled up!! ;D

Crap.............I just missed it.  Was doing a check to see exactly when the chicks hatched to get the number of Days old she was, and voila ............GONE!

Yup, 0743h, Beatrix took off pretty as you please.
No wind this morning and perfect temperatures so she couldn't have chosen better.

Hijacking the cam now, Dennis is on the ground so more news shortly we hope ...

What a day!  Thanks everyone for all the updates and the screen captures!  I'm so glad again that Miss Bea is continuing to hold off first flight.  And so very happy that Cade is a) becoming such a proficient flyer that he can return so effortlessly to the nest box and b) that he actually is returning and not just flying around to other spots in the city.  I wonder if he'll still return once Bea has fledged.  I sure hope they all return to the nest box as others have in previous years so we can continue to see our young ones up close  :-*

It's so nice to see others joining the forum and participating in fledgewatch!

Whew .............finally got caught up with all the posts..............busy evening for everyone, not exluding Beatrix and Cade.    Our girl was very active today so we will see what tomorrow will bring.  Will miss a couple of hours in the morning but then will be able to keep watch on the cam.  Hopefully I won't miss the fledging of our Beatrix!
