Sheila works with me.....she keeps threatening to join the Forum, but so far has shied away.  Swears she will if Princess & Trey produce another egg, though!

Spoiled, not really.  And actually, not really all that unusual either.  If they do renest, there would definitely be fewer eggs and usually they don't all hatch out.  Sherpa was the only one to hatch from a renest of Trey's many years ago and he was a pain, he kept climbing out of the nestbox (hence the name) and giving me heart attacks as he perched on the edge of oblivion more than a few times.  He didn't like be left on his own.  Happens alot when there is one chick or 1 female chick in a nest.  They just don't like being on their own in the nest.  Sherpa did fine though, he migrated out of the City without injuring himself!

If T&P renested and just had one chick, imagine how spoiled rotten s/he will be?

Looking "heavy"  :D    Y'all crack me up!

As of this morning, no eggs in the nestbox though someone had been "muffing" up the nest scrape so we will give it another couple of days.  The fact that both birds are still around is a good thing though, particularly coming up on 3 weeks since Black Friday.

Will be posting blog entries tonight as well as photos from the Radisson and from the Brandon banding!

Thanks, Ballywing. I wonder if Sheila would like to be an official member, as she certainly has good observing skills along with Pam.

For all you fanatics who love and miss seeing Peregrines "in action", check this out!

"Unfortunately the light was bad and the birds were too far away so the pictures are very poor quality but you can still get the gist of the action…"
:oThis is what the photographer said about the photos posted.  Kim must be a pretty incredible photographer to have taken such magnificent pics in low light. :o
Wow, these are amazing pics.  Thanks LouLouBelle for posting the link.
