Liz, the female that lost her site last year has a transmitter on her back and they can track her. they track her migration route every year. we know where she migrates to and on the way back we know approx time of arrival in our area
We knew that the night before she hit the nest site she spent the night in red deer (i.5 hours away)
That is how I know where she is roosting now. We actually went where she went last year and she was there but the tracker told the biologists where she was before that.
I still cannot get the pictures to enlarge, or do they??
am I allowed to post a picture of her here so you can see the transmitter???
I have shed many tears since watching cams and my husband finally told me that if I was going to continue watching I had to accept the bad with the good. It is hard sometimes but when i see one just born I am reminded what it is all about
