Definately a feeding frenzy, skypilot. Are you noticing the chicks seem to be sitting up better than ever?

For a while the chick heap became the chick flop, but now it's the chick feeding frenzy.

That's the longest i've seen the chicks left alone, here comes Dad with food and boy did the chick in  the middle sit up real quick. Back is to the camera but you can see 3 heads vying for food.

Tracy rocks indeed!!!!!!!! She has brought back our beloved chicks online to watch wooooohoooooo.  And the chicks are by themselves sleeping, they aren't in such a tight huddle either at the moment.

Don'tcha just love technology.  Well Tracy will have it back up soon I'm sure, she's very dedicated to the birds and this project and sharing it with the rest of the growing interested birdwatchers

Did we lose the feed to the webcam?

I'll be "tweaking" the camera in a little while so no one panic when you can see more of the birds.

It seems every morning when I get up and check the webcam the little ones have done some extra growing through the night.  At the moment my guess is that it's Trey with the family because one chick is 3 quarters out in the open with just it's head tucker under dad to the right, to the left I can see another chick sticking out lol. Oh Dad just left the huddle wow they sure are growing and moving more, flapping their wings more.

The chicks have been on their own for a few minutes now but I'm sure mom or dad isn't too far away. They keep shuffling around, probably trying to get comfortable. They really do look like they're in a huddle with their heads all facing the centre. Oh, looks like Trey is back, feather in beak and all.

Hmm I think Trey has taken over for now. He seems to have another little something sticking out from his beak again today. He must have had his morning snack too!

A cool grey morning, 8:10am Wpg time and our family is chowing down! My the chicks are growing. So clumsy though, falling all over each other, landing in heaps...so cute... - Princess takes the remains away, chicks form a Tee-Pee  - squirming around, trying to keep their balance. And a couple nice shots of poop for good measure.  I assume a parent will be back on the scene any moment.  ...oops Tracy you'll have to move this topic, I didn't see somebody already started it for today!!

Another feeding! Princess is handing out the grub again this morning. I can see one chick has a very full crop but he's still going back for more. Little piggies they are.

Yup definitely Princess. Shes doing a bit of preening.
