I think a few questions might be answered when they do the banding and I think T said it might be this coming Friday if the weather conditions are favourable.  I wonder if they weigh the birds

I think they do full measurements on the birds, including weighing them, as part of adding to our knowledge of peregrines.

Leg cramp no more   pulled it in. Ah well, not that I really wanted a chick to have a cramp!

That is possible, or just a sister that doesn't want to hang with her brothers or vice versa.

That seems to be their favourite spot.  Not sure just how wide that little "cave" opening is.  Perhaps that is why the other chick does not stay with them.  there just might not be enough room for three.

Now the two go back to sleep..and the single wakes up...they need to get on the same scheduals!

   Well, that was something I really didn't need to know LOL.  However, I can relate to needing my own space.  No, I am not sulking...just thinking.

One of them with its back to us was quite asleep (napping) and the other one shoved its head underneath to wake it up...almost to tell it, "you didn't wash your face, yet."

maybe its just not a cuddler....there are times I want my space in bed!

That one chick has been the topic of many a concerned watcher.  Apparently it is healthy as it does do its preening and someone did say that is a sign of health.  I know T did say they were all hatched within a day, but one of them hatched a little later than the other two.  Maybe, and I am no authority on this, it could be a slow developer.

I have read back on other posts, may have missed it, but is it usual to have a "loner" chick, I don't ever remember seeing one like that.

Not much of a shot across the compound that time ....must really be tired!
