Hey Pam...have they been across the street from you much ??

They've not been on the ledge much that I've seen, but have been on the sign on and off the last few days - maybe a couple of hours at a time.  You know the drill!

Haven't checked in for awhile and have been wondering if our falcons are still around. Glad to see the reports of sightings in the usual places. I guess the kids must be out "spreading their wings" in this beautiful fall weather.
Thanks to all of you regular posters. It's been a great and very successful year for everyone but, most importantly the falcons. I've found it interesting, informative, and fun. Luv the laughs!!   ;D

AND, if I remember correctly this is my 100th post!! What am I now??

Shocka88!!! Where have you been??? Great to hear from you again!

all were very successful and happy (and in Vesper's case, loud).  But recent sightings have been minimal.

I'll leave it to TPC to talk about the migration in detail.  My recollection is that they go as they wish by instinct, and don't need to follow a parent.  But I'm not the expert!

I see the posts about Princess and Trey, but where are the "kids"??   Are they still around?    When they migrate south, do they go by themselves or follow a parent?
Was very excited to see one of the birds when I visited Winnipeg two years ago, but I live in Arizona so can only follow them from what you post.    Hopefully all three babies have had a successful fledging so far!!!

Saw one adult on the east side sign this afternoon, guessing Princess, on the top of the first 's'....

1220 hrs (local)

No sign of anyone on the east side of the Radisson (sign or ledge), southwest sign on the Richardson Building, Canada Post Building, Royal Bank Building, the "Dome", the Kensington Building, or the Paris Building.  Actually, there was a guy washing the windows on the Paris Building and it is very hot for him in the sun today!!

PBase is down at the moment due to power failures but when its back up, will post an image of our intrepid Paris Building Window Washer!!

saw one adult on top of the sign today - thought it might have been Trey ( change in position??)  - Tracy can confirm/correct me!!
Oooh, perhaps he didn't want to be pooped on by his beloved queen anymore....perhaps there was a little "chirp discussion" between the two of them.

1400 hrs (local)

... poor Trey, had a nice preen, a major fluff and then briefly became part of Princess' poop-art display.  He must think she's an okay "wife" he's still sitting on the green slash beneath her, albeit with one eye watching for "gifts".

1415 hrs (local)

Trey has decided that the better part of valour is to sit a wee bit further in on the slash - gives him a bit a cover ....
Yes, poor Trey! But LOL, TPC, LOL! What a sight that must have been! ;D
