:P Ooh, I can only imagine what a great time was had by one and all. A great aerial show, great company and food delivered to your lawn chairs by the Mgr, no less. Make no mistake, It has been awhile since I have had food from Boston Pizza. We will be ording from them soon. Our nearest location, on Taylor Ave. I wonder if the Mgr. would have delivered my fave, the Boston Brute sandwich. Someone should write a complimentary letter abour her to Boston Pizza to be placed in her employee file. She went above and beyond. In addition, a new falcon phan. ;D ;D Want further updates, please. Keep this forum going. GCG :-*

Dennis, the picture with caption "Catch me if you can", suggests the male in the picture is doing something other than making an attempt to catch Loki.  :o :o Is that you, Eye Spy? LOL!

(Although the seating could be more comfortable! :-\)

Um yes, I think I might have a permanent dent on my bum. But a minor complaint really. Blue skies, warm sun, gentle breezes, lots of laughs with some fun people, pizza delivery and....falcons! A wonderful time.

As I was walking back to work, I spied Ivy on the hydro logo, well in the shade. No sign of the girls as I walked by. I think he might have been hiding (taking a a well deserved breather from the girls.)

Yup. First ever birdy tailgate party. Sylwia brought pizza, drinks, plates, napkins, plastic forks, extra parmesan, mints and even wet-wipes. What a gal! :D
It was so much fun watching the girls (we think) chase each other and their dad. At one point Ivy was on the "a" on the Hydro building and the two of them were doing fly-bys. "Dad! Dad! Dad! Look what I can do Dad! Is there any more food Dad? I'm still hungry! Dad! Dad!" It was just great. A couple of them even drifted on the thermals right over us. That's when you don't know if you should still be looking up (with your mouth hanging open) or if now's a good time to duck and cover! :P
Alli's right! Now is a great time to be birdwatching. And the parking lot behind the St. Regis is a great spot. (Although the seating could be more comfortable! :-\)

How fun to have manager delivered pizza!
Isn't that great that Sylwia actually was there at a good time to see Ivy.

Hee hee hee, snooze ya lose people.

TPC summed up the morning quite well, lots and lots of flying, and they are becoming quite skillful.
Now here comes the really fun stuff.
Cooper joined us just shortly before I spoke with The Chick. We watched some more and then we all were feeling a wee bit hungry. So I said, wanna order in a pizza.Well we all cracked up at that, what place in their right mind would deliver to a parking lot?
And the hamster woke up ;D ;D
I said how about Boston Pizza. So figuring what the heck, I gave them a call. If I hadn't been there, I would not believe it. Lovely voice picks up the phone, says "Boston Pizza, Sylwia speaking ".
After I stopped laughing, I said is this Sylwia the manager, she answered yes, and I said it's the birdie people. We laughed for a bit and then I ordered the pizza. When she asked for the address, I said the parking lot behind the St. Regis Hotel. Dead silence, loud voice, you want me to deliver to a parking lot??
I said yup, she said ok, took our order and said it would be about 25 minutes.

We watched some more and up drives a bright sporty car. It's Sylwia with our food.
She got out, saw Ivy on the A, turned and looked at us and said that the bird is really big. Kind of a bit of awe on her face. Off she went, we ate and watched some more and now we're all back to real life again.
What a hugely fun morning.   ;D

Sounds like all is well with the Radisson family!

I'll write this again folks, yes, "fledge watch" is officially over but, watching the four of them develop their hunting skills with Dad & Mom is just out of this world!  If you can, get out there and watch them.  They own the sky!

Oh heck.  I've missed all the action.  I didn't think they'd be leaving the nestbox so soon!  I've been preoccupied learning all about the Police State cabal at the G20 in Toronto.

My heart stopped for a minute when I went to check in and saw that the Falcons weren't there.  I thought there'd been some terrible storm and they'd all been killed.  Well, too bad I missed it but I am SO relieved that all four survived and headed out into the big world.

Things are winding down and I want to let everyone know how much I have appreciated all of the blow by blows on the goings on at Peregrination.  Our birdies definitely have lots of personality and individual appeal.  Thank you too for all of great photos - they are beautiful (birds and photos). :)

Thank  you to all of the reporters, rescuers, forum readers, and TPC, Denis, bccs . . .  :-*

Much appreciated!
