Almost dark now, can just make out Princess hunkered down for the night. Temps are comfortable, sky is cloudy but no rain.  :) - Sleep tight 'Mom' - I wonder if tomorrow will be a big day?? ;D ;D

After the recent pebble-picking-shuffle-leaving the eggs behind..........we have peace and quiet with princess/ivy all tucked in! ::)

Very quick shift change.

Ivy was on the eggs and suddenly looked up and hopped to the edge and left as Princess landed. Ivy came back a couple of seconds latter and while I only saw the back of Princess's head - I suspect she was chattering at him - he quickly did that 'drop' off the ledge.

Princess moved one of the eggs a bit now she looks like she's settled in for her shift.

Not the squawking about the heat, like there has been for the past few afternoons. A little bit of rain right now so some "hunkering down", I'm guessing. ;)

I was just watching the webcam and there appears to be strange happenings. A very puffed up parent and burrowing. Tail feathers up. Now she/he moved away from the eggs and was pecking at the stones. Back on eggs. Everything appears calm (for now).

With the clouds getting closer and closer, Princess is probably getting a feeling of "Deja Vu" from past years. Thankfully, they have more protection in their new home.  :) When the chicks hatch this weekend, there will be, from all of us, "Laughter in the Rain".

Princess spent a few minutes on the ledge, surveying her kingdom  ;D - came back, inspected the eggs, poked around the nest, inspected the eggs, poked around again, finally settled down on the eggs. THEN got up & came right over to the cam!~ - Picking at some leftovers I think. Back to the eggs again. Mom is restless today!  :D
The Kinderchicklets got to see this action this morning, while they were working on a project. They thought it was quite funny because they have never seen one of the peregrines come up close to the camera like that! ;D

Ivy is there now, just sitting pretty, tee hee.

Imagine the peregrines on cliffs in the wild, they have the sun, the rain, the wind and NO SHELTER!

I tell myself this because I too worry about Ivy and Princess and all they have to endure. Must remember that they have deluxe accomodations.

He just seems to be sleeping, his eyes are closed. Those pale eyelids are strange!

It's 20 after 9 and seemed like something was going on....  or maybe it was just a shift change.

Whichever parent is on the eggs right now, is it just me or does he/she have their butt up in the air and their head tucked in underneath? Perhaps listening?  :D
