Radisson - 2010 / Ivy & Princess

Dennis and I did a flyby there last weekend and found one bird (briefly) on the eastside sign but didn't get any kind of look at the bird to be able to even guess who it was.  We have some new connections to the cams on the Radisson so I'm hoping to get a new address for the east side spycam and hopefully can confirm the bird is still Sandy (or Ty I guess) before s/he does decide its time to leave ....

TPC, you and Dennis are so diversified. A flyby? Can you teach us how to do it so we too, can get a birds eye view?

Only 2 months to Christmas.....Sandy is still in Winnipeg. Today she is sitting on the lower ariel thingy. Maybe she will stay this winter if the wather will be nice. Oct has been a lovely month.

If she does stay here, I sure hope she survives the cold weather we will have.  I wonder why she has not left yet.  I just tend to worry and fret.

Well, still here today. Somebody tucked under the "n" on the west side this morning at about 11:30, tail hanging over the slash (and no, I'm not talking about that gash in the slash - though, it's fooled me before). Definitely a birdy - saw his/her head turn.

Then someone in the west nest box just before 3:00 p.m.

Yikes! Hadn't thought about that possibility, Pam! I believe that there was a female who did stay the winter a number of years ago. I think I remember TPC saying that "Madame" stayed around for the winter one year, before "Princess" took over the territory. Am I right, TPC?

Pretty quiet on the eastern front today.....though Dennis may prove me wrong yet!

First thing this morning She was flying near the west nest.....It was minus 1 this mornign  so getting colder every day.
