Yes, she sure is chomping at the bit to try out her wings! Maybe tomorrow?  ;D....eeek - or maybe tonight!!  :o. Hope not though.

I agree Pchemist. I notice that last years chicks were born a few days earlier than these chicks and they fledged by July 3 but still hung around the nestbox (according to the notes with the photo's) so this weekend looks like it very well be it!

Gladly, she's pretty much down-free on her back and wings now, so I feel better about her trying flying.  Hope she waits a bit longer though.

I notice a big difference in her confidence since yesterday..  :D :D  and now,, I have two howling cats, wanting to go out for there evening stroll about the yard on their leashes. lol  and I have to take them one at a time, they don't want the other around when they go out. lol

omg,, there is a whole church choir going on now.. lol..  wow.. someone is on the beam out of view I think, and maybe our little chase on the roof yakking it up,, but holy cow, Lightening just screaming and others chiming in,,   or is that an echo,,, ackkkkk ( hit the side of head,, I can't hear for alll the screamming... oh my)   roflol

Pretty sure that was mom.  Did you get a good look at the size of her when she came in close to the camera?  She's one big mama!   :)
