boys that didn't take long to eat that snack.  Now where did everybody go?  Back on ledge, licking chops. lol Can hear other falcons in the background.

after some running around with the goody for a bit, doing what Momma does with the tearing and talon holding, she's definitely got the hang of it now! Just want to reach in and grab that one little fuzzy feather off her back while she is preoccupied....

She's one big mama isn't she?  Took up about half the nestbox.

I just figured out what she sounds like and what it reminds me of.  when I used to go visit my parents with my dog, their dog would go nuts, kiyiyaing and yipping around the yard, my dog would go crazy too, jumping all over the seat and yiking and barking, yipping and you guys must have seen dogs doing that?  lol.  clear foolish and excited.  That is how Little Miss acts to me!

Wow adult bird just flew over and down going very very fast,,,,,,,,,, unreal,, then came back and up flapping and landed on the outside rail..  woke sister up that did!  Oh, adult brought food,  Little miss hungry~  moaning and squawking and really pulling on that food.  She has got the hang of it.  Stand right on it and pull, pull! lol

Glad she's nice and calm as I have lots to do and can't watch as much today.  Not only is it Independence Day, but it's also my fiance's birthday!  We're having a cookout, so I have food prep and housecleaning (did some yesterday but still more to do) plus I need to work on the yards (mowing, weeding, etc).  AND he wants my help working on the new house today!  Fortunately, it's not forecast to be as hot as the last few days.

He isn't one for presents, but I got him one anyway.  He was happy because it was a work-light thing he'd seen and coveted.  Frankly, a new tool is always a good present for him.

No tantrums yet, she's nice & calm in the morning light, surveying the land.  - Stretching her wings. Just might be an interesting day! I hope the sunlight changes soon so we can see better!~

The position of the sun is making it difficult to see this morning, especially the bars and down below.  Can hear screaching from time to time, comes close then goes away, fly bys perhaps.  Lightening is sitting with a glare from the sun on her as well so not so easyto see her beak and tell whether it is her, squawking from time to time.  She is not throwing any fits type thing yet. lol.

Ahhh , good morning Ballywing, I was just getting ready to start a new thread and you beat me too it.  ha ha.   Had to try a few times to get the cam to work first before I could report in!

Lightening is standing right on the ledge, getting  much more comfortable being out there isn't she? I too heard some screeching from outside the box as well.

Is today the day for Lightening??  - She's perched on the ledge and somebody is screeching at her from afar....'Come hither and fly with me' .......Happy July 4th to our U.S buddies!!!

I got up, can't sleep, had a peak at the cam.  Lightning is up preening and a parent perched on the far bar right of the nestbox.  I think it's mom; I only see the back of her.  Mom's perched there motionless, probably half asleep herself.  I'm glad Lightning isn't alone at nights.  I'm going back to bed.

I see a tail in the lower left, likely Mom, so, must holler! Don't come in here!!
