Dad's bringing food constantly.  He brought something awhile ago, Mom fed the kids and then he came back with a some food for Mom.  She just took off to eat and now he's keeping the kids warm.   ;D

Dad brought a tasty snack, passed it off to Mom, and then flew away.
The chicks seems as hungry as ever. Boy, they are eating a lot today!

Nope, just Dad bringing Mom breakfast. She's off to eat, and he's not really trying very hard to get all the chicks under him. One of them has a crop so full she/he looks like a bullfrog!

Another very noisy feeding at Elk River!
I haven't had time to watch the webcam since Thursday --wow those chicks have grown a lot! They are also much better at holding themselves upright, and aiming their beaks at the parent's beak to grab the food. They know where the food is coming from now, instead of just cheeping in vague directions. Go chicks!

noisy feeding going on.  One chick is behind the other three and sometimes gets up to ask for food but has such a full crop it topples over for a brief nap over and over.  funny!   ;D

watching an early morning feeding, boys the chicks have grown in just a few days.  my my. mom has her hands full with these four lively ones. lol. looks like a nice calm morning there.
