Sorry...I just realized I should of specified that it wasn't only at the Elk River site where I saw both adults in the nestbox during feeding time (both feeding their chicks)...saw it on the Ohio site, the Netherland site, Italy site and the England site.  I just thought that was rare....???

I've been seeing both parents in the box during feedings a lot this year...I thought that rarely happened  ???

Good to know that all four cuties got their share...you feel so bad for the little ones when they are facing the wrong way with their mouths wide open..

another lovely day in Elk River.  Got to see mom and dad together on the outer perches and then saw one swoop off down below - cool!

now dad (I think) is making a HUGE racket and has stepped off the chicks, who are making their own racket.  somebody wants a snack....   ;D

chick tee-pee is very cute!

Another feeding! So soon?
The chicks are a bit half-hearted about this one. There's not the same sense of urgency.
Perhaps the parents are making up for yesterday when there were loooong stretches between feedings (because of the wind????).

jeez, another feeding already!  the kids are barely even making any noise and are hardly even asking for food.  one of them is sleeping through it (again)!   :o
