Poor Princess (you won't hear me say that too often) - her eggs did not want to cooperate as she was trying to corral them under her - round and round she went, tuck all the time and still the little terrors kept escaping out from under her!!
They sound like little terrors ;)

Is the camera live at the Radisson or is it off.?

The webcam does not go on until a week before hatching - and that won't be until the Victoria Day weekend.  Sorry, couple more weeks to wait.

Do you think she senses the wind increase? Maybe at her age, she doesn't like the wind beneath her wings!  ::)
too cute

Lovely warm morning in the sun for east facing nestboxes/nestledges but no, Princess will not take a break to enjoy the sun and let her eggs get a tan.  Beatrix is doing it in West Wpg right now so why can't her mom!!!!

I'm pretty confident I saw parts of three eggs in the last shuggle - but I think perhaps there may be four there because of where they eggs were in relation to each other, it seemed to me that there should have been one more.  Hopefully with the warm weather today, she will get her butt up and off and stay off for a few minutes  ::)

Her stubbornness is probably a big reason why she is so successfull ;)

I do agree with you on that, moka! ;)

Sounds like Princess is feeling pretty relaxed.

All day I have been trying to get a peak at the eggs but absolutely no luck.  Now Princess is tucked up asleep in the shade with her head under her wing.  May have to try again tomorrow!!

Oh well, she chose the ledge - birds will be birds.

True but I just keep remembering her sleeping in the nestbox when it was snowing, something that I've never seen her do - only other time was when she was injured a couple of years ago.  While she was napping, I thought, smart bird, taking better care of herself as she's getting a older especially since raising chicks doesn't get any easier just because you are older and more experienced.  With help from Smiley, she'll do well, it would just be nice for it not to be quite so hard on her.

1327h - checked out Princess on the eggs and thought "why is it snowing"?  Then I realized that the snow were feathers.  Smiley is on the sign slash prepping food - by the enthusiasm, I suspect it might be for him and that he's a very hungry bird.  It was a Northern Flicker.
