The egg is in the southeast corner of the nest box now and the kids look like they just had a recent feed.  :)

My screen was freezing but I'm sure I caught one of these guys playing soccer with the unhatched egg earlier...  :-X

There they are, beautiful, fluffy white chicks sitting in the sun.

They have grown fast, they seem so alert... maybe food is coming in soon because they are squawking.

yup, one of their breakfasts for today arrived at 0812h in the form of a killdeer ...

6:51pm... dinner time.  One chick's crop is so full he can barely stand up!  I think it's on the verge of bursting!   :o  And the other chick I can see doesn't have a full crop at all.  Methinks we have a piggy in this bunch!!!

Brooklyn came by for a quick visit, he was only there for a minute and left.

I haven't seen the Brandon parents by all last evening nor early this morning.  Anyone else?

The chicks are past their ten day milestone, we will see the parents "on" them much less now and even see the parents less now on camera.  This is normal and Hurricane and/or Brooklyn won't ever be very far away.
I know Tracey, just was concerned as it was a cooler night and morning, even if they can thermoregulate, it must' ve been chilly for them.

All three chicks try to swallow a leg, looks like it comes from some sort of shore bird.  One manages to get it down finally.   :o  ;D

Hurricane usually perches on the east light above the nest or at the bottom of the clock tower above the camera.  Last evening Brooklyn was sitting on the west side of the McKenzie roof, he likes to eat in that spot and where I was able to ID his band number.  :)
