Love the new cam view.  Very cool to see the parent sitting on the edge of the box watching over their chicklets.

I like the new cam view also!  :)

Do you mean this pic?   ;D

I was watching it live but it was similar to this result except his face was down on the pebbles kissing the wall ;D

I see Hurricane is all snuggled up with the kids and the kids have been colouring on the south wall.  ;D

Wind has picked up in Brandon and its getting darker there.  Hurricane has parked herself on the kids just to be sure.

Have switched to a wider view as the adults are leaving the chicks uncovered more now.  Tomorrow (15th) will be ten days so they are starting to thermoregulate now and we could/should be seeing them uncovered more and more from now on.  If a storm blows through or if there is alot of rain or cooler temps, Hurricane or Brooklyn will still be there for them but other than that, the chicks should be visible most of the time.  With a wider view everyone can watch not only the adults but the chicks as well.  We'll see how the new view works out and go from there ...

It would be nice if the window cam was zoomed out a little so we could see more of the east and north side of of the nest box, then we could still see the chicks and also the parent coming and going   :)

I can certainly do that if that is what folks would like right now - will mean that you will not be able to see the chicks "up close and personal".  If y'all want me to try it for awhile, let's see a show of hands ...  :)

It was nice and sunny and the chicks were happily "huddle-cuddlingly" and fussing with each other and their feathers.  No adult in sight but they will be across the way, or on the roof of the box or on the light standards overhead.  Hurricane and Brooklyn are normally close to their kids at this stage.

Adult parked on the front box edge now - can't tell who for sure, but I suspect its Brooklyn by size - bird is preening and the sun is directly behind him/her so can't get a clear look at head or breast plumage.

Chicks all huddled together in the corner under the roof of the nest box. Can just see the tail feathers of an adult, sitting on the other side of the nest box - probably waiting for food! :)

Okay, my typing wasn't fast enough - parent now keeping chicks warm. LOL!

Terrific capture...and thank you for them all.
Yes, it sure is.  I was listening in at about 3 a.m., as you can't see anything, but, could hear the chicks chirping away.
