Has a date been set for the banding of the Brandon chicks?

Yes - we will be banding on Thursday.  Haven't finalized the time yet as we have other work to set-up and do in the Brandon area.  And yes, the banding will be streamed live.  Monday I hope to have all the timing details set and will post here and on the main page of the Forum in the "news" section.

These chicks. as well as the Radisson chicks, have great providers. I don't remember so many chicks with such FULL crops. They are growing  by leaps and bounds.

Lovely to see nature at work with a bit of luck.

That's an amazing screenshot of Brooklyn on the roof of the nest.  Very strange sight indeed.  I would think sitting in the shade somewhere would be a lot cooler than that!

I love that they are more awake now, and trying awkwardly to move around the nest.  Entertaining to watch... so long as the cam doesn't freeze

Brooklyn in to feed the kids again.    He bites off and gives them such little pieces and I think the kids would like bigger bites.

Does she hang out on top of the nest box often? She doesn't look very comfortable - not that I have any clue as to what a Peregrine finds comfortable 

It's comfortable more for young birds than for older ones, or rather the older birds do it less often.  Brooklyn is doing it because he is hot and by lying down he is able to get his breast on something cooler and he is able to spread his wings out to catch the wind so that it flows under him which again is cooling.

Right now there is one pancake chick and his/her siblings are just hanging out watching the world.

Yes and they should be because Hurricane fed them and 50 seconds after she left Brooklyn came in and fed them again.........they were quite willing to eat more.
