We'll be banding the Brandon chicks at 3 weeks of age but we have to wait for them to hatch (heck, we don't even know how many there are yet!) at which point any one in Brandon will be able to see the adults trying to take Dennis' head off on the roof.  We can even set you up with a great location to watch all the attacks - not on the roof with us, but close enough that you will be able to hear and see all the action ...

Oh, you know I am game!!! Count me in for sure.  I will be mobile by then and am really looking forward to it!

I would go with you in a heartbeat...if I could of course!  Man, I'm jealous.
I can't even get downtown for a lunch meeting with ya'll...I know I've written this before but...I can't wait until there's another "date" for all the phanatics to get together so I can finally meet some of you in person  ;D ;D

Yup, and I have to make a business trip there in the next 3 or 4 weeks. Think I can persuade certain people to accompany me - at no cost to them?

Had a report from our man Dan and there pair are on eggs in the nestbox in Brandon but don't know how many eggs or even have band numbers on the adults birds - other than it looks like a new female with a solid black band on her leg.

We will let you know what we find out, when we find out something!!

Yippee-skippee, that's three nests in Manitoba for 2009 - now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that everyone hatches out successfully!
