Just got home from watching " Colonel Mustard " take a couple of flights.
6 hours of watching him stay on his perch, call out to his parents and duck the swallows that we annoying him.
The next two were worth the wait.
He finally jumped from his perch, went down a bit and then gained height and got himself to the top of the MTS Centre. He spent about an hour there, yelling and flapping a lot. Now we are on the street and many people stopped to talk with us and watch him.
All of a sudden off he goes, across Portage Ave., east over the construction site, over Mountain Equipment and plasters himself on the wall of the Sterling Bldg.
He stayed there for a few moments and then began to slide down the wall.
Of course we are running like fools trying to get to him.
Dennis finally spotted him across Portage Ave. from the Radisson Hotel, perched on a ledge on a wall about 50 feet from his wall clinging.
So, he's not only smart, but strong as he was able to pick himself from a fall and fly to a higher location.
All in all, a great eight hours and worth the sunburnt face.
