Not so far as I have heard.  Its happened a couple of other times this season and it has always been the same thing, some how the encoder was "off".  I've left the CBC folks a message about it.

They usually give us some warning, don't they? ???  (Except the year when we had all that silly stuff with the soccer broadcasts :P)

There were some lightening strikes that shut down some communication stuff, so I would not worry about it.  The falcon kids are big enough now and fly ok so they should be alright. ;)

checked through the recordings and there was another male at the site overnight last night - maybe with McDermot on the ledge.  Other male (can't tell if it was Fleet or Hart) took off and then it was McDermot on the ledge and at the box most of the day and into the evening with breaks off to cause chaos and havoc elsewhere.  Not sure if he has decided to spend the night down near the ledgecam or if he has taken off, last sight of him was about 2130h/2145h.

I suppose you're right, bccs. Afterall, even my cat sometimes has her face tucked under her body and I won't how she can possibly get any air but, she does.  :) Ah, speak of the devil, my cat is meowing for attention.
