I know this question has probably been asked before but how are the transmitters attached to the birds?

Two of them are on the ledge now.  So nice to see them again.

When driving home this evening through the downtown, I saw 2 PF’s do a fly-by, over the Radisson and then out of sight. Probably headed off towards the river for some “eats”. Then, saw 2 other PF's sitting on top of the Hydro Bldg. for quite awhile. Nice to know they are all safe & sound.

I enjoyed seeing those two as well - fun to see McDermot hopping around, back and forth, up and down while his sister (probably) sat quietly and watched.  They often seemed to have conversations with each other together with beaking and laughing at those of us on the Parkade, waiting and hoping for an airshow.  So I see they're not on the ledge tonight, so must be spending the night on the Hydro roof

McDermot & bigger birdie, so probably Jubilee - hanging out on top of the Hydro Building tonight! Not much flying going on, just lounging on the edge of the roof together  Couldn't see any of the rest of the family though, this was around 8pm or so.

Hi Susha, thank you for the welcome. I very much enjoy browsing the forum, just a little slow  getting started. However...  just had to jump in and express my excitement when the Radisson cam was back!   

Happy to be on board with a great bunch of people!

I agree, burdi, it's so nice to see the birds in the evenings and "comforting" is the word that comes to mind for me as well

Very happy to see Radisson camera is streaming again. Yes, I see McDermot has been in front of the ledge cam since at least 1125h. Likely not much to see during the day (especially with a heat wave coming) but, when they show up in the evenings it is just so comforting to see them up close, again and again. Hopefully for those of us who truly enjoy the opportunity to see how they are doing the cams will not be shut down too early this year.

A check at 6:50 finds the nestbox and ledge empty, can't say that I blame them from staying away from heated concrete and black louvers.
That box does have allot of remains in it...don't forget I clean it up later and bag it...every thing from pellets to chewed up wings and body parts then sell it on eBay...just kidding

You would be surprised at what people will buy!!

My partner was in the area at 5am and he heard two birdies having quite the loud conversation on the Sterling Building this morning
