Looking more closely is it possible there are two egg shells?  My eyes take a while to wake up in the morning. One shell near her shoulder and one just forward of her head?  Or maybe I have just been staring too hard.

TPC, does it ever happen that more than one chick hatches at the same time?  Do they always hatch one at a time?  ???  And  if so, do they hatch in the order that they're laid?

Still hunkered down tight - Still breezy - Still no sign of activity under there  : :-\ if nothing happens before dark, maybe we will wake up to a surprise or 2 tomorrow!  8).....oooh Princess got up for about 5 seconds to reveal the 4 eggs - but not long enough to see any pips or limbs sticking out..... ::)
