:D :D  Yup, a chick huddle with Mom and Dad is always a good thing when you are this little.  Soon our little chickpile is not going to fit under the parental feathers.  My goodness they are squawky too!!

Looks like Princess left and Ivy came in to cuddle the kids. :)

Wow, are these flufflings ever getting big!!  They are starting to loose some fluffie feathers and those necks can sure stretch up!!  Cute to see them try to preen themselves.  Busy getting a snack right now.  The rain did not appear to diminish their zest for food!!   :D

Snack time (9:17am local).

Quite a vocal bunch this morning.

I noticed someone on the CBC site posted that they had breakfast at 6am

It looks sunny on the cam, but it's over cast. I live only a few km from the Raddison and there is a light drizzle.

Looking at the ledge-cam the sky has cleared alot and it doesn't look to be raining much at the nestbox now.  Still overcast but I can see the city lights now which I couldn't do 20 minutes ago.  That's good news at least.

PFs, it's time for an umbrella switch, some snacks, and a fresh dry bed.
And for me too - goodnight all.

I thought they were purposely powering down b/c it was dark, then realised it was just the light.

Green cams - yay for sustainable development, and thanks to all involved in that decision.  :)
Oh... it's not the cam shifting modes, it's just the light dimming?  :P
Yup, sorry Liz.  Our cams aren't equipped to see in the dark - we figure the birds deserve some alone time too  ;) ;D

Was just checking the Environment Canada weather online and yup, severe thunderstorm warning went out at 2030h.  That would explain the hail.  Looks like it is travelling eastward as their is a severe thunderstorm watch for points west of Winnipeg including lake country ...

Another wave of dark gloom is visible on the ledge-cam (it has the only image of the skies) so I suspect we aren't going to get that last look we want of the Radisson chicks before true night falls.  :'(

Just had another look from the sky-cam and most of her body looks to be undercover from that angle, I think the water dribbling is the most annoying part of it.  It may be getting a bit brighter so maybe we'll get a good look at the kids before the light goes entirely.  Once the rain stops, a last meal for the evening would be perfect ...

At 2010h we still had colour on all the cams, now they have shifted into low light mode and all we get is black and white.

She's definitely got it, and I'm sure it'll work - she knows what she's doing!
I didn't know about Madame and T-Rex - cool.
