Looks like the kids vacated the skylight, at least what I can see of it.

Was just thinking.......the new nest box on the roof lasted as a home for them all of about two/four days.  Could have just left them to roam right from the start.  Could that actually have been done or would it have been to much of a change for the little tykes?

The chicks were too young to leave unprotected on the rooftop ... as you can see with the Radisson chicks, they keep coming back to the nestbox even though they have a ledge to run on.  Had Hurricane and Brooklyn nested in the roof-box, the chicks might have stayed longer, or not.  Every bird is different.

What a cute pic TPC!   The two are now packed into the V of an eavestroughing of somekind.  What  pricelss antics performed by these two.  This is what you get when allowed to express themselves in a larger space. ;D  So glad we have had an opportunity to watch the chicks in a different environment than just the nest box scenario. Great fun to watch and learn.

I also wanted to mention when I go to the McKenzie building, I walk around and check to see what they have been eating, you know the stuff that gets dropped on the ground for some reason. You may all think I am kind of weird for doing that, but I find it quite interesting .

I find it very interesting too - thank you for sharing.

So much fun to watch these little munchkins.  But they are growing up and losing so much of their fluff already.  Signsof the days to come.  These two are really buddy, buddy!

They have exquisite refined tastes, not your usual peregrine KD.  :P
