I also wanted to mention when I go to the McKenzie building, I walk around and check to see what they have been eating, you know the stuff that gets dropped on the ground for some reason. You may all think I am kind of weird for doing that, but I find it quite interesting . Anyway I have seen lots of Sora Rails and today I saw a Black billed cuckoo.

I remember reading on the forum that the Brandon chicks may fledge in 7 to 10 days. Is this a good estimate or am I imagining this.  ???

Yes that is a good estimate - they are 34-36 days old now ...

Well whoever or whatever it was needed to be scared cause I sure wouldn't want them angry with me. I've been dive  bombed by swallows and that was bad enough. Don't think an umbrella would work with the Peregrine's.  Pictures are great RCF.  You are getting so good at it!

When I got to the McKenzie building this morning at 10:30am, Brooklyn and Hurricane were screeching and diving across the top of the lower roof.  Obviously there was something or someone on the roof or they could see someone through the skylight. Hurricane was on the northeast corner of the roof and then went to the tower. Brooklyn perched on the roof above the old nest box and continued to screech. After about 20 minutes they both settled on the tower and were quiet.

TPC have you ever noticed anything/bird etc. bothering these little guys now that they are so in the open?  I know the parents are always nearby but crows botherd Fyfe after he had fledged and Princess and Ivy were there also.  Just one of those thoughts that came creeping through the cobwebs and I needed to ask.  Brooklyn and Hurricane aren't very far away I am sure.

lol Chick on the left starts talking to his brother. Sticks out his foot to nudge him. Stalks off, disgusted. Comes back, still no response. Flaps his wings and says ĢI'm outta hereģ Other chick settles back down to rest. 8)
