Was out for the evening so am just catching up on all the excitement. I take it that Bea has not yet fledged. Am I right?

Lifo, you should mark one more building "Fyfe's" parkade which is the long white building behind the Rogers building.

Think its unlikely that Beatrix will fledge this late in the evening, so I'm signing off a bit earlier than usual tonight.

Thank you to all the Fledgewatchers on the ground today and everyone keeping track and posting online.  Such an active day, nice to have lots of eyes on Cade and Beatrix.

2109h Ms Bea having a late night snack.  Thanks for the close-up TPC.   :P

Sure seems like she's had a lot to eat today as compared to some of the previous days.  "Carb-packing" (like marathon runners!) (no, wait, that would be protein packing!  ;D) for her first attempt at flight?

Checked the playback and ..

2016h - Bea on the edge, jumped down onto the ledge and toddled out of camera range
2020h - bird, adult I believe, buzzed past the nestbox on the northside of the hotel at high speed
2030h - Bea returned to the nestbox from her time on the ledge

That's the quietest food drop I've witnessed but she sure is making short work of that poor bird.
