Hey, Dennis is here on the forum.
As our Man on the Ground today, I hope he has some news?

If the parents know where there kids are, they are probably looking after them well...
You are absolutely right about that, bcbird. :)

Ivy and Princess might be pleased as punch knowing they have got their girl flying at last.

Tough on us, though.

KC    it would have been great if you at least had HEARD them.
Sorry, mspeach, wish I could say that I heard them, but alas, I did not. Was attempting to listen for them, but nothing at all. :( And for sure, if they had been calling out from anywhere near by, I certainly would have heard them. With all of the rush hour traffic on Portage Ave. yesterday morning, we certainly had no trouble hearing them screeching from the Radisson nestbox. :o

Well, I'm thinking that they may be tucked in on top of the Manitoba Hydro Bldg. :-\ That's where I thought I could see 2 birds at about 1:00 this afternoon when I was near the Donald St. Bridge and I see where Cooper posted that she could see 2 birds on the same building around 1:30 this afternoon. So maybe they are there and have just been laying low in the heat of this day. :-\

Was hoping to hear good news about Bea before bed time.  Hopefully no news is good news and everyone is just out being busy keeping an eye on her and her brother.

Great to hear a recent update, Kinderchick -- even if it's just to say that nobody's seeing any of the birds. Mind you, with today's heat, they've probably all been holed up in whatever cool spots they can find. It'll be good when someone catches sight of Bea.

Kinderchick - were you able to get downtown this evening?  If so, do you have any news?

Was out and about today. On my way home around 5:30, I stopped downtown and spent about an hour or so, looking around for Bea & Cade. Walked around many of our regular fledge watch stake-outs and unfortunately, no sign of them. :( No sign of the parents either.

To all the fledge watchers - thank you for your enthusiasm and hard work - hope you catch site of our 2 fledglings soon - really anxious to hear some good news!

I'll second that dodobird! Just have to keep thinking that "no news is good news".

Well it has been 12+ very looonnnng hours since Ms Bea fledged. I think the lack of news is a way of making all of us sitting inside in our nice cool homes pay for not being out on the street looking for Bea!   ;)  Seriously now, I too do hope all is well and wait anxiously for some news.

And to everyone posting about the Brandon chicks and the transmitters, there is a thread dedicated to this topic.  I expect your posts will be "shovelled" when TPC gets back as they don't belong here.

Whoa - We are here because we support the Falcon Recovery Project - and we love our cute and feisty birds. We all wish them well!
Please - this is not the forum I joined.
Can we not agree to disagree on some points and get back to supporting the birds.
