So, it's Trey on the chicks right now and it's comical how much smaller he is when you see him trying to cover them all up.  Valiant effort indeed!   ;D

 >:(

Could someone please inform both Princess and Trey that it is very rude to eat with your back to the other 'guests' that are joining them during their meals.

While it is a lovely view of each of their respective bums, we want to see the 'kids'. !

And I am totally busted at home, having just been caught trying to look around the monitor picture to see past birdie butt... turning my head, leaning in and over,  and trying to peer past the back end of a bird. ( which does not work by the way.)

My family is now completely convinced I'm nuts.

That last feeding was great.  You got a great view of two of the chicks with their mouths gaping wide for more!  Great camera angle  :)

Oh, another meal time! Princess gave us a better view as she was standing to the right hand side of the chicks.  It's Trey now and he doesn't seem so wet. The rain's let up but it's still really cloudy, so it might start again later, who knows! Winnipeg weather, sheesh!

Awwww - I can't see the webcam but the word 'Soggy' is description enough. Poor girl.  :-\ Though I s'pose they're alot tougher than we think, we probably suffer more watching them, than they do living the whole experience.  ;D ;D

The new view is great!  I now have a very clear picture of a soggy Princess.   ;)

Like the new view?  Larry is at the Hotel setting up the remote software so he tweaked the view a bit more (Thank you Larry!).  Looks like it is still "zoomed" enough for you all to get your fix of cute chick pics!

Looks like rain - I'm seeing raindrops pass by the camera.  Poor Princess - but then again they chose the nest!  Silly birds.  ::)
Yes I do agree!! -  I'm not impressed with the choice of nest location this year -    :-\((too open, too low, too small, too everything) - hee hee - well I guess it's none of our business but we just want things to be nice for them and to stop fretting about them! - hope they agree in the end that this was a bad choice, and go back to the better place near the roof next year!!!  8)

Yes it's raining, I can see the raindrops in the foreground and water running off Princess's feathers not a nice day.  And yes Tracy not only have I been enjoying the webcam I spotted a female red winged blackbird going to her nest and saw little beaks pointing up. Tis the time of year for Mother Nature at work with the new generations of birds.

oh wait now it's Princess back on. Did I miss a shift change? or maybe i was wrong all along and it was Princess still after the feeding...but I don't think so. Hmmm...

Thanks for the feeding updates...I've been told by many who are "in the know", that the parents often have a "food stash" away from the nest..this year in one of the Italy nests, the juvies located the secret "pantry" and had a feast on the leftovers... ;D  Talk about teenagers cleaning out the refrigerator!!!
LOL!  ;)

Feeding time! Mom is feeding the chicks but again has her back to the camera so can't see too much! Looks like the food was some sort of bird as i think i saw claws hanging as she was bringing it in to them.  I still think it's hilarious how the chicks are so lethargic when they're done eating!
Mom flew away with the food and now it's daddy back to watch the chicks.
