In my second photo the white ledge directly under the nest box is the top of the lower Mck roof, which is a long way from the nest.

The white ledge isn't the lower roof of the Mck bldg, its actually the side of a building across the street. I am posting picture where I was taking photo and where building is with white ledge.

this morning all sunshine(not supposed to last ) Hurricane on east light,no sign of Brooklyn,the chicks were at the front of nest box, then Hurricane took off, a few mins later Brooklyn showed up and landed on east light,a few  mins later Hurricane showed up and started to yell as she came past the tower and flew straight at Brooklyn and put him off the light and settled there herself. Brooklyn showed up with something in his talons and flew into the nest box,he and the 2 chicks disappeared and he flew out and around the building,must have brought midmorning snack on Satuday and Sunday you can hear them talking but the rest of the week there is too much street noise. Supposed to be a nice day tomorrow I hope, I hope
