A great day in Brandon with the birds performing well...yep, it was none stop action after the door was opened giving us access to the roof.

It was great to see our Brandon Folks again...as well the folks that made the trip from Wpg. Topped off with a good time at the Double Decker for lunch !

We choose red tape because we thought it would be easier to see at a distance - better than the white or yellow or green.

Last years male "Fate" had white tape on his band and Rose and I could see it quite clearly. One of the three females " Luck" was much larger than the other two, so we could tell when we saw her, even without seeing her band.

Forgot to mention, Tracy put red tape on the female chicks leg band and none on the male, so we could tell who is who when they fledge........not that we have had much luck seeing bands. ::) :D
