Sad news from Dan in Brandon ...

Mackenzie was found dead on the sidewalk at the Brandon bus mall - looks like she collided with a wall or window as she had a broken neck.  Don't know if the winds in Brandon were as strong as they were here today, but that could definitely have contributed to death.


Condolences to RCF, Rose, Birdlover and the rest of the Brandon watchers who have done such a great job of keeping track of the all the birds in Brandon this year.

Saw Mackenzie early this morning (6:30) having breakfast up on the mts tower, didn't see her after work....probably sleeping where it's cool.  ;)  I did see Brooklyn, he was eating on north west McK roof and Hurricane was on the north ledge where the louvers are on Scotia bldg.

Just to let everyone know.All three present and accounted for. Brooklyn and Hurricane on mts tower, Mackenzie in the same place that we found Brooklyn yesterday (on the ledge of the Scotia Towers louvers). Looks like this must be a favorite spot lots of poop shoot just below ledge ;D

Thank you.  :)  We can get pretty close,the walkway is only five stories. Rose spotted her first, I didn't even see her......she was laying down. ::)
