Just checked the weather network, and they are calling for thundershowers tonight and possibly tomorrow.Tthe sky is getting dark, not from nightfall, but clouds, but I still have the balcony door open and haven't noticed a huge drop in temperature.

Thanks Liz...I just hate knowing that it's been beautiful weather and then BOOM, cold and possible snow!  ARgh...I know that Princess and Trey will be wonderful!

Don't stress, allikat -- they make it thru normal storms every year.  Black Friday wasn't normal.

1615 hrs (local) - Princess is on the eggs and all is sublimely serene on the nestledge.  There is a bit of a breeze but its ruffling the little feathers and not the big ones  ;) and she is napping.

1230 hrs (local) - Trey is still on duty but it is clouding over now so he's not panting as much though even though it is still warm where he is.  He's not lying low on the eggs, in fact I can see one under his left wing (right wing as I watch him on the cam) - its tucked up where its suppose to be, he's just a little higher on the eggs than usual - another indication that its warmer than it has been.  And he's not housekeeping at the moment so he must be tired  ;)

1100 hrs (local) - it is very warm on the nestledge right now and can't see any evidence of wind.  Trey's on the eggs, awake, looking around and panting a bit in the sunshine.  In another hour the sun will be going behind the Hotel and the last forecast I saw indicated that we were suppose to cloud over and there would be a chance of a thunderstorm (not much rain) later today/tonight.  Trey looks fine though, he got his head down for a bit, then up again and looking around, then down.  Not sure if Princess will be back shortly and he's watching for her or if she just took off and he's trying to spot her.  At the moment, his head is down and he looks to be half-napping.

Trey is my little rockstar.  Banded him in 1996 and have been chasing him ever since  ;D  T-Rex, Trey's dad, was an astoundingly perfect male peregrine, maternal & paternal, aggressive & tender.  And the little terror could spot me as soon as I got anywhere near his nestsite (I mean in parking lots near his nestsites).  Ivy, Trey's son, is looking more and more like his dad every year, he's quite a little cutie - much quieter than his Dad and Grand-Dad but after a couple of recent visits, I have this odd feeling that he recognizes me like Trey and T-Rex ::).  Its going to be interesting to watch that this year ....

Trey is absolutely the King of the Falcons!

A great mate, provider, father and it by far the most beautiful and loyal male to Princess!  We all love Trey!

But we also know that TPC has a soft spot for Trey in her heart!  :-*

So, it's complete and utter infatuation is it?  Well, we all know that there ain't no cure for love.
Damn, now I'm going to be singing/ humming that for the next little while.
TPC, you have a bad influence on us!! ::) ::)

I think it's gone beyond 'borderline' - TPC adores the pants off His Highness!!! (Figuratively of course)  :P He's King of the Peregrines!  ;D

1500 hrs (local) - Trey is still on duty and looks to be doing fine - still low to the gravel and not able to clean house but he's not too buffetted by the winds, he gets fluffed up quite a bit from time to time, but it doesn't look like he's get "pushed" any.
