Tks, as my bus stops at Gary and Portage will definitely get the binocs out and see if I can spot Princess or Trey. Will look at the spots you pointed out.

We still have alot of big black clouds hanging over us. My boy is still cowering under the computer desk. Hope it clears up soon. Glad all is going well downtown. As I am going to MTS and will have binoculars, where is the best spot to try and catch a glimpse of our family?

The nestledge is on the east-side of the building but you won't actually be able to see the birds on the eggs as they are tucked at the back of the ledge and are staying very low as the wind has come up alot in the last few minutes (NNW 37 gusting to 50).  Unfortunately there is no where you can check out the birds from above either ...  If you want to check out the Paris (Garry & Portage) and Sterling (Smith & Portage) Buildings, frequently the birds sit on the architectural features (ledges, cornices, cherubs, statuary, etc) or you can check the JR sign on the Richardson building.  Those would be my best bets for trying to spot the birds this evening.

Enjoy the show at the MTS Centre!

Tks bccs. Can still hear thunder in the distance but no rain which is good. Hope it says that way. Glad the family didn't get what we had!

Oh my Lord, we are really getting the thunder and rain. Seems to really come down in buckets and then slows down to nothing. My dog is scared of thunder and lightening and is hiding under the computer desk as we chat. Hope this stops soon as I am off to Il Divo tonite and don't the boy to be freaked.

1538 hrs (local) - Trey is asking who ordered this weather - there is sun shining and its still raining over the ledge.  Of course, being on the east side of the Hotel, he's not sitting in the sun and getting rained on, just getting rained on ... he looks so sorry for himself .... (such a dope)

Raining like the dickens down here now, straight down, no wind. And thanks for the tip about the lawn chair, never occured to me. Early bird - not really, I'm up at 4:30 every day. And if it's at 5, well I'll just have to think about that. :P

Wow you're an earlybird! - either you'll get to see it all, or you'll be snoozing in your lawnchair while waiting - or I'll be too late and miss everything - or they'll do it at 5pm and throw us both off!  :P
AND - I'm told it's HAILING ice pellets now in St James!!!!.....Never mind, stopped now, raining but sunny. - CRAZY! ::)
