Hey Ballywing, I'm going to head up to the ledge between 9 and 10. Maybe I can earn some money, I've been getting firsthand lessons in panhandling. :P
I'd rather hang around than miss it. I'll be watching for ya.

1515 hrs (local) - skies are clouding over again and they are not the wihite fluffy type.  Bit of rain so far, can see the drops on the ledge wall.  Think I can hear thunder too but not loud ...  Wind has clocked to the west so the nest, rigging and cam are pretty much protected at the moment.  It always seems like adding insult to injury when it rains and blows on Trey and Princess.

Stoopid birds, could be sitting in penthouse watching the rain instead of getting wet ....

Back downtown now, and it's darkish, but no sign of rain. But windy.

So much rain in a short amount of time.
THAT's why that flippin' nest tray is priority one - glad it's a good forcast after today so they can get it installed - we hope!! 8)

From what I saw on radar it looked like the storm just clipped the northeastern part of the city.  All good for Princess and Trey and Jules and Ivy.  Looks like a beautiful day is forecast for Winnipeg and the birds for tomorrow  ;D

1431 hrs (local) - can't see anymore rain on the cam, Trey looks wet and intriguied with the rigging at the moment.  He stuck on the eggs like velcro and shows no distress, just tucked down on the eggs, looks up occasionally then looks around, then stares into space ... the old thousand-days-on-eggs-stare ...

1415 hrs (local) - we just had a spat of rain against the windows.  Not sure if it is technically the 60% chance of showers or thundershowers this afternoon", maybe its instead of, maybe its just the beginning. Less than 1mm predicted.

Just checked another weather site and where it says "sunny", "partly cloudy" in their cute little icons it says "thunder" - yikes  :o  Still see blue sky out the window but guess that could mean this is the 60% ...

There are some raindrops showing on the retaining wall and some rain visible on the cam now.  Trey is going to get damp, but not much I don't think ...

Ok bccs! - I should be there by 11:30 - and if there's nothing to see then I guess I'll be a bit early for work  :-\ - but it sure would be awesome if that nest tray is put in tomorrow - then not only does the cam go on soon - but also -  us 'fretters' won't be having quite so many heart attacks every time heavy rain is forcast!!  8)
