Just went out and had a look. At first I thought it was a girl by size. Then it moved and I went, naw it's a boy. So after a few minutes I gave up and came back in. Still don't know, but it sure is a fine looking peregrine. ;D ;D

Seems like the family has left but a foreign juvenile has decided to raid the larder before heading off ... from what I've seen of the band thus far, not one of our birds, nor a Manitoba bird but probably a bird hatched this year in the US - Grand Forks perhaps ... that would make it a second cousin I think ...  S/he is very messy ...

So the bird is hanging out on the west R in addition to eating on the east R?

Haven't seen our Messy Miss* today but do know she or someone has been striking fear into the little hearts of birdies downtown this morning ... new meal on the R ... have put in Photo Gallery since it is a graphic and much more recognizable as a former bird than yesterday's image ...
