Hey TPC what's with the beak rubbing on the nest ledge by the boy??

It's called whetting the beak.  Means to sharpen by rubbing.  My birds do it too.

I see a lot of birds rug/clean their beaks on tree branches and/or fences.  Perhaps it is the peregrine version of flossing Pchemist or just cleaning off the sharpest point (bottom) of the beak.

I've always thought it was their version of flossing.   ;D

Way to go little brother, stand your ground and face her down. ;D Finally, the big greedy girl had to share.

People buy and appreciate art painted by cats and monkeys, why not peregrines?

1759 hrs (local) - food delivery - little male got it and kept hold of it and so far isn't even trying to go to the "corner" to eat alone.  The other two aren't fighting that hard though Sis is caling for more ....

All is happy on the ledge ...

There is some splendid poop art happening on the sidewalk just below the nest ledge, Smith and Portage.
Saw it yesterday and, considering the projectiles that occurred today, may just have to take some picture for y'all. ;D

I can hardly wait, you pick such good names TPC. I hope you will share how you came upon the choices. The last naming was so interesting.
