0913 hrs (local)
Bccs is downtown watching from Portage, I'm headed down with my laptop in case I can get access and continue to play with the camera.  At the moment the camera is set up to see both the nest ledge (all of it so you can count the remaining chicks) and the corner of the Paris Building which is the most common place for thise chicks to go when they fledge - 1996, 2006 and so far this year.

Believe the Paris building is the one on the far right.  Trey was sitting on the top corner there earlier defeathering the latest meal.

Hot Shot has, it looks like, dropped down behind the ornamental cornice along the front edge of the Paris Building - Trey was feeding him - makes it hard to view the details with the webcam I'm afraid.
Well, at least we know he has been located, even if we can't see him! :P

After seeing the nest from this angle...didn't realize it was so open to the elements...Yikes
Yes, Marie. And look at all the glass windows across the street on the Wordsworth Bldg.! I'm wondering if there's a possibility of one of them seeing it's reflection and flying into a window, like has happened with other birds at my house?! ???

Check the July 4 Observations threads for updates on the chicks today ... we'll leave this thread for the mechanics of Fledgewatch if you  all don't mind!

0913 hrs (local) - Trey eating on the corner of the Paris Building, Princess had been earlier observed on the Sterling Building by Dennis.  Hot Shot has, it looks like, dropped down behind the ornamental cornice along the front edge of the Paris Building - Trey was feeding him - makes it hard to view the details with the webcam I'm afraid.

Not sure if Chick 2 will depart today, not sure it looks motivated enough to go ...

If I can't get access to manipulate the camera downtown, I will see if Larry is around but no guarantees, he does have "another" life so ... at the very least we will still post updates to the Forum.

Will post again before I head out  ...

I was so hoping that was our chick Shaw "The Admirable One" eating there. Now you all know one of my favourite names for the boys.
But reading the posts, they say it is Trey.
Hope you find him.
I see bccs...I think that is her.
Any news from her?

Whew! :P Hot shot has been found, (I think?), with a big snack, no less! Do you think a parent dropped that off for him? Or maybe that's not him afterall! :( There goes the camera again.
