TPC said they usually fledge here at dawn, but it can happen any time....

but these kids seem pretty happy to stay where they are, and I'm happy for them to do that!

(my cam is locking up sometimes too - probably a traffic issue - but it unlocks itself so that is good)

Whole lot of flapping going on by the 2 chicks left on the ledge! But TPC did say fledging is usually occurs at dawn or dusk. May be too hot in the midday sun and not enough of an updraft.

Two on the south edge of the ledge and both flapping like crazy.  So...nervous.
My picture keeps freezing. Darn lite speed.
One jumped off onto the ledge.  Good.
Better go and get my housework done.

One on the drain cover and the other on Trey point.  Glad you had a nice walk Kinderchick.  It's also sunny in my neck of the woods as well.

sorry to report there is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon in Winnipeg.  but only 40%.  Could be worse.

Ah, but Pchemist, 40% chance of rain, also means 60% chance of no rain! Just got back from taking my dog for a walk and it's nice and sunny in my neck of the woods. Did I miss any excitement?! Do I see 2 chicks on the drain cover?!

Yep, it's lookin' pretty overcast here too.  I hope we get a thunderboomer.  We did have rain when I woke up the first time around 7:30, but that moved on.  Prolly what you are getting soon.

glad the other two don't look at all inclined to fledge today.  or even move around much, for that matter.  they are seriously unimpressed by the fact their brother moved out.   Probably only argued briefly about who got his room and stuff.
