Thanks to for all the updates this morning and last night.   I am still amazed at my great luck last evening on my first time downtown and seeing L'il Miss up close.  I will never forget how beautiful she is.  Now just praying that when she takes off again she stays safe - and also her brothers.

Bccs, on your last air-quality check (ahem), did the fledge watcher(s) mention whether the boys had been seen recently at all? I assume the watchers are still camped out across from the MTS Centre to monitor L'il Miss.

Hey bccs you say you are working but really are you falcom watching LOL.  I think work is an uncover operation so you can really see the birds.

Anyway I am so glad that lil' sis is okay.  i was scared when I heard that she was on the ground.  Has there ever been a time when a bird does not fledge successfully and then what happens, are they rehab and if so where.  I am always interested in those little ones who do not quite make it, I know from form that it is better to not have that characteristic in the breed but just interested.

Hope I have made sense in this post.

very happy to know she is well (if irritated) and didn't flee the nestbox.  Perhaps she's telling P&T that they should have lived there in the first place...

well, I will probably actually get some work done today.  I'm sure my boss would appreciate it...

Must be something wrong with the air, cause I have to check it so often.
Just got back, still in the nest box, but she did hop down onto the ledge and have a good walk from end to end, then hopped back up to the box very nicely.
One of the adults came to the ledge and perched there for a bit. She's still noisy and you can hear her over traffic.

Last year it was babies in he Chez Bathroom Sink, last night a teenager in the tub.  TPC must have amused and tolerant neighbours!

Just returned from an " air quality " check. All is fine, our girl is still there, she's been yelling for P & T to bring some food. They are quite aware that Missy is there, so it's just a matter of time till a snack appears.

Argh! Serious withdrawal symptoms this morning when I saw that empty ledge. Thanks for the report last night TPC (do you ever sleep?) and your update this morning bccs. Hopefully we'll see some pics from Dennis later.  What a trip this has been! After last year I wasn't sure I could watch again but here I am almost 2 months later, with my eyeballs still glued to the computer screen waiting for a glimpse of "our" birds. Thanks to all involved in this project. Now if they could only attach teensy cameras to their bands so we could follow their travels.
