1015 hrs - no one has been on the sign, ledge or within the cam-zone that I can find for the last hour, hour-and-a-half.  Nice, sunny, almost wind-free ... would have thought I would see someone ...

Thank you for all the info on genetics, TPC. Very interesting, indeed! However, still waiting for our rock star, Trey, to show up!
Maybe today or tomorrow... allikat has a feeling and dennis thinks tomorrow.  If dennis is right and he shows up tomorrow, I guess that would be Treys idea of an April Fools joke!

Princess was on the ledge earlier, and has now moved up to the N (at least I think it's her up there, I'm pretty sure it was her on the ledge).  Only one bird in sight, anyway!

there are lots of storms in other parts of the USA. so that can impede progress also

This isn't an actual storm. Carly -- it's just that all these thousands of birds are basically hanging out around the flooded areas -- geese, swans, all kinds of ducks bobbing around on the water, with many, many other flocks of birds in the sky. Quite amazing really -- I just wish the clip had been longer, with more information!

Hey, I just caught the tail end of the CTV news, and they were showing clips from flooded areas near Fargo where they're having what they describe as a "tornado of birds" -- thousands and thousands of birds of all kinds, some of whom are on their way here. Maybe that's where Trey is hanging out!

Tracy, thanks for all the information. Knowing the background and having a better idea of peregrine behaviour really enriches the whole "let's watch the peregrine falcons" experience. I know that I don't know a whole lot about them -- but definitely want to learn!

Yep, tomorrow is a new day and ...coincidently it's the 31st...the perfect day for Trey to make an appearance.    

Was talking with Dennis today and he's still going with the 1st ... he's had a pretty good track record in the past, maybe he hasn't lost his touch ...
